McCormick Lake has excellent fishing and is stocked with Muskie, Northern Pike, Large and Small Mouth Bass and Panfish. Fish from the dock or your boat or from the ice in winter. Boating, swimming and water skiing are also fun activities on this spring fed lake.

Snowmobile & ATV trails, including the Bearskin Trail can be reached from the driveway. These trails are also available for hiking and biking

The Willow Reservoir is only minutes away to the South. Ninety-five percent of its 77 miles of shoreline are undeveloped—not to mention all of its 117 islands—it's one of the few places where you still can enjoy a heavy dose of old-fashioned Up North solitude. That is, if you don't mind the company of the eagles, loons, ospreys and other wild critters—including wolves—that call the 6,400-acre flowage its home.

The Minocqua Chain of Lakes is a few miles to the North. The Chain is famous for its good fishing, water skiing, boating and water ski shows.

The Minocqua area has many excellent restaurants, shops, golf courses and theatres.

The Lac du Flambeau Cultural Museum and Lake of the Torches Casino are also located nearby.
